Annika Ballantyne

Annika is the owner and principal Speech Pathologist of Mandurah Speech Pathology & Clear Speech Pathology Clinic. She is the mother of three young children (and can appreciate how busy life with children can be). She has a  passion for working with children, and in particular  her special areas of interests are working with early language clients and Autistic children.

 

Annika is a Hanen certified Speech Pathologist for the Hanen "More than Words" and "TalkAbility" programs for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders and social communication difficulties and she has completed additional early intervention training in BLADES language therapy for children aged 2-5.   She is dedicated to her role as a Speech Pathologist and loves seeing the confidence her clients gain as their skills develop.

Annika has a post graduate degree in Autism assessment and Diagnosis

and is a qualified autism diagnostician..

Helen Fahey

​"I have been a Speech Pathologist for 20 years and I love working with children. I really enjoy exploring the world through their eyes and supporting them to grow into their wonderful and unique selves. I like winter, pistachio ice-cream and drawing. I have an 11 year old son and I know way too much about Minecraft"

Helen is an experienced Speech Pathologist who has spent time working in the Language Development School. She has a strong interest working with neurodiverse children and is excited to be joining a workplace that is passionate about providing therapy in a neuroaffirming way and building strong relationships with children and their families to provide a positive therapy experience.

Karen Hounsham

Karen is passionate about working with children to provide engaging, play-based therapy that is tailored to the goals and interests of the individual. She believes that all children should receive the support they need to communicate effectively in their daily interactions at home, at school, and with friends.

Karen has a particular interest in supporting children to develop strong literacy skills, and is trained in Sounds-Write (an evidence-based literacy instruction program) and she has completed training in Colourful Semantics. Karen enjoys supporting children in the development of early communication, speech sounds, and fluency.

​

When she is not working, Karen enjoys spending time with her 4 children, and walking her dogs - Sasha and Murphy. She is also an avid reader and board game enthusiast.

Rebecca Wimperis

BSpch.Path | Certified Practising Speech Pathologist | M.S.P.A 

Rebecca is a dedicated and passionate Speech Pathologist who enjoys working with clients across the lifespan from early years to adults.

 

She is passionate about working in the areas of articulation, phonology, early language development, expressive and receptive language, literacy, semantics and word finding difficulties, fluency, aphasia, dysathria and voice. 

 

Rebecca enjoys building a rapport with her clients and shaping goals around their interests and values providing individualised and collaborative practice. 

​

She believes in advocating for clients and providing functional and fun therapy sessions to work toward achieving client goals.

 

In her free time, Rebecca loves spending time with her two 

children.​​​
